Our authority does not rest on a building, a board, or a budget. It rests on a method that anyone can audit. Every claim that carries weight is marked by where it sits on a five-tier honesty scale — and the seam between an older layer and the text laid over it is read by four tells.

The seam shows in the syntax — a word forced to carry a meaning it did not have, a tense that betrays a later hand.
Two layers meet awkwardly. The join is visible: a borrowed figure half-assimilated, an older structure poking through.
A term changes shape as it crosses a language. Aionios, Gehenna, daena — each carries freight the receiving tongue blurs.
Someone had a reason to overwrite. Follow the interest — who gained authority when the origin was rewritten.
No claim travels without a tier. We would rather say contested than overstate.

Original dataset
Fourteen end-time motifs — adversary, judgment, resurrection, the savior, the fire — laid side by side across the Zoroastrian, Jewish, and Christian forms, each with its primary source and a tier marking how strong the link really is. Several of the strongest resonances are honestly marked contested; one is internal development; one has no direct link. We map the relationship; we do not assert a borrowing the evidence won't carry.
